IPL works best on darker hair (dark blonde, brown or black) because the light targets melanin. To soothe and protect: -Apply a cold compress if the area feels hot. -Avoid heat; hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, and vigorous exercise for 24–48 hours. -Protect treated areas with SPF 30+ daily, as the skin will be more sensitive to UV rays. -Refrain from waxing, plucking, or bleaching hair between sessions (shaving is fine).
